Place them all close together and then place a large bowl of water on the platform. Dip the strings in it, then leave one end in the bowl and put the other end in the soil in the pot. This will ensure that all your flowers have the moisture they need while you are away. This trick can be used both on the balcony and at home. When the bowl is placed above the pots, the water will flow freely down the strings.
