Dandelion’s new song is called “The Ride of the Witcher” and mostly has lyrics in English. The composition is very catchy and actually sounds like the perfect background music for driving fast. Joseph Trapanese, the composer of the music for the second season, worked on the work. The Polish band Percival Schuttenbach was invited to cooperate.

The Percival Schuttenbach group is well known to those who play The Witcher from CD Projekt Red. It is a folk metal band from Lublin, which previously recorded music for “Dziki Gonu”. In the game you can hear their songs like “Lazare” or “Sargon”. In fact, the very name of the band is inspired by the work of Andrzej Sapkowski, who named one of the characters of the Witcher saga that way.
Polish verses are clearly heard in “The Ride of the Witcher”. Although Joey Batey sings only in English, female and male backing vocals appeared towards the end of the song. Gentlemen, for example, feistyly sing “The forests rustle, the forests rustle”.
Let’s also remind that actor Joey Batey learned to play the lute before the production of “The Witcher” for another artistic project, and besides, he is also the vocalist of the band The Amazing Devil. The first part of the third season of “The Witcher” will be available from June 29 – then it will also show the first five episodes. The rest will be presented a month later, on July 27. What’s more, on the weekend preceding the premiere, “The Witcher Fest” will take place in Łódź – the cast of the series is to come to the event. Henry Cavill, Joey Batey, Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan will come to Poland.
The festival will take place on June 24 and 25 at EC1 in Łódź. Participants will be able to preview the first two episodes of the new series. In addition to meeting the actors, Netflix has also prepared attractions inspired by the Witcher universe for them.
