The San Sebastián City Council has announced today, Friday, which groups and soloists will make up the lineup for the Sagües concerts in the city’s Semana Grande, to be held between August 12 and 19. All concerts will be held in Plaza Tomas Alba, starting at 11:45 p.m.
On Saturday, August 12, the concert series will open with the Alava group En Tol Samiento, who will be replaced the following day by singer-songwriter Sofía Ellar, with three albums published to her credit.
On Tuesday, August 14, Gari will offer a double concert. On the one hand, he will play the most popular songs from his solo career, and on the other hand, he will perform part of Hertzianak’s repertoire accompanied by the Alos Quartet string quartet and the trikitlari Xabi Aburruzaga.
On Tuesday, it will be the turn of another Basque rock classic, the mythical El Drogas, which will be followed by the Bulego concert in Sagües on August 16.
For the last section there are the concerts of Danny Ocean, Venezuelan singer-songwriter of reggaeton, dancehall and moombahton, on August 17; Huntza, immersed in his farewell tour, on the 18th; and the former Ketama singer Antonio Carmon, who will close the program on August 19.
