Kali Uchis and Ozuna present the new version of ‘Another day in America’ from the movie ‘West Side Story’

In December of this year the remake of ‘West Side Story’ will be released and will be directed by the American filmmaker Steven Spielberg.

The singers, the Colombian-American Kali Uchis and the Puerto Rican Ozuna presented a new version of Another day in America, which was originally played by Rita Moreno in 1961.

The theme is part of the soundtrack movie officer West Side Story, which is directed by Steven Spielberg and will be released on December 10.

West Side Story Spielberg is a remake of the film of the same name that was hit theaters six decades ago and was directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins.

The 60-year-old film received good reviews. “Natalie Wood is firmly positioned as the biggest young star of the day and enters the mighty senior league,” said James Powers of The Hollywood Reporter.

“It seems a bit dated in places, but Sondheim / Bernstein’s musical version of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ still has sparkle, power and impact,” commented Peter Bradshwa of The Guardian.

Uchis, 27, in the most recent edition of the American Music Awards was the winner in the category Favorite Latin Song with Telepathy. (E)
