Krystyna Tkacz, known for her role as Michalikowa in “Zmieniki” or Kotkowa in “Alternatyw 4”, did not have it easy in life, as fate did not spare her. She has had no luck in love and is now single, but not lonely. How did her life turn out?

Krystyna Tkacz was born on March 19, 1947 in Wrocław. Fate soon left her alone. Her parents ran the “Warszawianka” restaurant. When she was two and a half years old, her mother diedso he hardly remembers her. The woman died during childbirth, which ended in tragedy. A year later, Weaver experienced another loss when her father diedwho had previously contracted tuberculosis. Due to contact with an infected person, she was sent for observation to a closed preventive and treatment facility, where she spent several weeks. It was there that she developed her now characteristic hoarseness from screaming. She was then placed in the care of family members. Even though she grew up surrounded by a family, her peers still referred to her as an orphan. When her classmates picked up her parents, she went home alone.

As a child, she knew she would be an artist. Her talent was discovered in kindergarten

Krystyna Tkacz, after tragic experiences as a child, found a balance in her life with the development of her artistic passion. From an early age, she wanted to perform on stage. When the grandparents enrolled their granddaughter in kindergarten, it was there one of the babysitters noticed that Weaver had perfect pitch and long, slender fingers. She also persuaded her grandparents to buy a piano so that little Weaver could practice at home and develop her talent. In an interview with “Express Wieczorny”, Krystyna Tkacz recalled:

From an early age, I wanted to be an artist. I went to music school, played various instruments, sang in the choir.

Then she started attending the famous music school named after Karol Szymanowski in Wrocław. Weaver also began to develop other skills at school. She not only recited poems, but also danced and also practiced ballet. At some point, she also heard significant words from the director of the facility, Bidziński:

Tkaczówna, you have a voice like a woman’s Armstrong, but when you speak at the academies, it’s impressive.

She experienced a real drama when she did not get into drama school.

As a teenager, she began to pursue her dreams related to acting. After graduating from school, she went, full of hope, to take the exam at the PWST in Warsaw. It met her there. As it turned out later, it was her hoarse voice that the examination board did not like. In an interview for “Zwierciadło”, as she quotes, she recalls:

Despair was an understatement. I returned to Wrocław from the exams devastated and aged. With 10 years I came.

After failing the exam, in order to earn a living, Krystyna Tkacz took a job as a freight forwarder at the bus station. However, she did not give up her dreams of acting, also thanks to the help of her neighbor’s friend, who introduced her to actress Elżbieta Karkoszka. It was he who helped the young Weaver prepare properly for the exam. A year later, she was admitted to a theater school in Krakow without any problems.

At the theater school, Krystyna Tkacz also met her future husband, Grzegorz Warchoł. The common passion that united them seemed to be an inseparable bond. However, their life after marriage turned out, despite being an actress at first she tried to ignore her husband’s behavior. The actor and director tried to control not only her, but also influence her career. The couple quarreled more and more often, until finally Weaver she decided to break up. The actress has been through a lot of divorce. Now, in retrospect, she sees her former relationship as a “non-existent episode”. In an interview with the magazine “Pani”, as she quotes, she admitted:

I even died of love. After all, ‘every love is the first, the hottest and the most sincere’, as the song says.

Currently, the actress emphasizes that she is happy with it. She is happier being single than when she was struggling in failed relationships. The 76-year-old tries not to regret anything.
