In an interview with Grażyna Torbicka, she recalled the times when her cooperation with TVP ended. She revealed that the circumstances that prompted her to leave “shouldn’t have happened”. The journalist confessed that before she decided to take such a step, she noticed that she was losing control of her original program. The station interfered with the materials it published and made changes without prior agreement. The cup of bitterness overflowed when the material was broadcast without her consent. “They interfered without my knowledge in my program that I had been doing for 20 years. This should not have happened, so I decided that my cooperation with Telewizja Polska should end then and I left – she said.
The presenter admitted that when she left TVP, she already had many years of experience and a strong position in the industry, so she was not afraid of these changes. She knew that the most important thing was consistency and acting in accordance with one’s conscience. — You have to believe in your worth and that if we really consistently do what we think is right, what is in line with our values, we will always find a place for ourselves. And if we do not find this place, it means that we should go to some internal emigration and we will be happy too, said Torbicka.
