In early May, Priyanka Chopra hosted “The Howard Stern Show”. During the conversation with the American satirist and journalist, she told, among other things, about a botched plastic surgery that nearly ruined her career.
The singer admitted that after winning the Miss World crown in the 2000 election, she went to the doctor because she was worried about worsening breathing problems and a troublesome runny nose. The doctor found a polyp in the nasal cavity and suggested that she undergo surgery. During the procedure, however, the surgeon made a mistake, as a result of which Chopra’s nose collapsed and completely changed her face. – It was a dark time. My face looked completely different after the operation, I fell into a deep depression – in program. She revealed that the botched surgery had lost her roles in three films and feared her career was “over before it even began.”

Her father, also a doctor, persuaded her to undergo another surgery and rhinoplasty. The actress confessed that she was terrified to even leave the house, not to mention undergoing corrections. “He held my hand the whole time and helped me rebuild my confidence,” she said. The operation was successful, and Priyanka Chopra developed her career in Bollywood and in the following years. She was modeling and also tried her hand at the music industry.
