The film tells the true story of 4 people who, after a hard experience, found themselves with God. It will be screened in Cinemark theaters.
For many, the way of faith it starts at home. For others, your faith is born and revitalized after an experience that turns their lives upside down and becomes the supreme force to continue their days. However it happens, in the end they all seek the same goal: to be better, serve and set an example, even if the spiritual path of one is never the same as that of another.
This is one of the perceptions left by the projection of Vivo in its preview on Thursday, November 25. It is a Spanish documentary film that collects the story of four individuals and the experiences that led them to meet, or meet again, with God. Thursday December 2nd arrives in Ecuador at the cinemas of Cinemark.
The tape was produced by Hakuna Films, a project of the Hakuna Catholic faithful association, based in Madrid. It was a pastoral initiative of the Spanish priest José Pedro Manglano, directed by Jorge Pareja and with a script by Jaime Pineda.
Its distribution to Latin America was possible through the Spanish Bosco Films, which allows its simultaneous premiere in December not only in Ecuador, but in Argentina, Paraguay, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica. It came to Ecuador thanks to the management of PAC films, a company run by Jaime PĂ©rez AzĂșa.
“There was a lot of interest in Hakuna to spread this film in Ecuador, here in Guayaquil a few months ago they formed a Hakuna group,” explains the promoter. This association of the faithful aims to share the power of the eucharist and the revolution that it provokes in the lives of all those who take it, of liberation and healing.
Those are the messages of Vivo, in the real testimonies of its protagonists Jaime, Carlos, Andrea and the couple Antonio and Sonsoles. âWe want to tell stories of today. We think it is interesting for believers and non-believers: we all like to know the places where special powers and healing energies are found â, illustrates the Father Manglanor on the film’s website. He also appears in some scenes, summarizing one of the most important messages of the production: “sometimes we are either looking for God, otherwise it is He who is looking for us.”

It is a tape for all kinds of people, agrees PĂ©rez. âI think we can see some beautiful stories, cinematically well told, and with extraordinary photography and editing. It can entertain, surprise and it can even invite you to discover something new for your life. “
