Last Sunday, June 4, 2023, the Freedom March took place in Warsaw. The event organized by together with the Civic Platform gathered crowds. According to preliminary calculations, about half a million Poles appeared on the streets of the capital. Citizens protested against the policy of Law and Justice, also expressing opposition to the introduction of the so-called the Lex Tusk Act.

At the same time, she remained silent, providing information on, among others, National Parade of the Circle of Country Housewives in Opoczno. The station did not comment on the subject of the Freedom March until around 1:00 p.m. At that time, the news ticker described the event as a “march of political hatred”, which was organized by PO. In addition, the number of participants was incorrectly stated, suggesting that the event did not have much public support. However, this is not the end.
The evening edition continued to misrepresent information about the parade. The program showed material from which it was clear that “admirers of Donald Tusk” organized a march of hatred, which was to be confirmed by banners depicting uncensored slogans.
The National Broadcasting Council received as many as 12 complaints against TVP. The materials will be analyzed
According to the portal, in connection with the coverage of the March on June 4, presented in TVP programs, as many as 12 complaints were received. The complaint was filed by public television programming council. Among the allegations, there were arguments such as: lack of objectivity and pluralism, bias, discrimination, failure to report live events, violations of applicable laws and false information.
