The judges of “Mam Talent” saw the dinosaur costume and doubted it. The performance received a standing ovation from them

As soon as a contestant in a dinosaur costume ran onto the “Got Talent” stage, Sofia Vergara asked: “Is it bad that I already want to say ‘no’?” Fortunately, Patrick Chu didn’t care at all and calmly presented what he had to show. When his performance ended, Vergara apologized for her earlier behavior and all the judges unanimously said “yes”.

Recently, the 18th American edition has started and as it turns out, the participants are still able to surprise the jurors who have already seen a lot. Patrick Chu showed up to the audition dressed in a dinosaur costume, which confused many people. As it turned out, Chu is a young stuntman and acrobat who makes a living working in a company dealing with heating and air conditioning. However, he admits that he is not the happiest there, so he decided to take part in “Mam Talent”.

A dinosaur ran onto the stage of “Got Talent”. The audience cheered for a moment

Patrick took the stage name Trex Flip and as soon as the music started, he showed that he can really do a lot. Despite the fact that the costume rather hindered the acrobatics, he presented some really impressive moves. He started with a backflip:

“Oh my god, I’m so glad I didn’t say ‘no’ to you at first,” Vergara apologized. And she added: This teaches us that you can never, never judge a book by its cover. Heidi Klum was also impressed, especially that even in a dinosaur costume, the contestant was able to land on his feet every time.

Simon Cowell somewhat jokingly stated:

He’s the best dancing dinosaur we’ve had on Got Talent.

Comedian Howie Mandel said that for him the element of surprise was the most important thing here and that indeed, it was the most surprising performance he had seen in a long time. He mocked that all 11-year-olds wear this costume on Halloween, to which Simon Colwell admitted “I wore one myself once”, and Heidi Klum said that she also has one at home. Mandel said that actually inflating a costume in the case of dance performances is more of a hindrance, so all the more impressive are all the flips he saw on stage. Sofia Vergara laughed: “I can’t wait to see what else you do in that stupid costume.” Cowell hesitated for a moment, and the audience began to chant. “They love you, so I think you just got like seven thousand yeses.” After leaving, the famous judge Patrick Chu added: “That’s why I keep doing this show.”
