Celine Dion canceled all concerts. Will not sing because of illness: Cramps affect life

Celine Dion was about to embark on her “Courage World Tour”. The artist planned as many as 42 concerts in Europe, including Poland, which were to take place on March 8, 2024 in Łódź and two days later in Kraków. Although there is still almost a year left until the planned performances, Dion knows that her health will not allow her to work so intensively.

The artist emphasizes that she feels great sadness and regret for announcing once again that she will not be able to sing for fans. “I’m so sorry to let you down again,” the singer writes. “I’m working hard to recuperate, but tours can be too difficult and too demanding for me. It would be very unfair to you to postpone shows again and although it breaks my heart, I have decided that it is better to cancel all shows and return to the stage only when I’m really ready for it” – adds the artist and reassures fans, writing that she does not give up, fights for her health and can’t wait for the next concerts.

Celine Dion cancels concerts. The disease prevents her from singing

will not appear at concerts in Europe due to his rare disease. The artist suffers from an unusual neurological disorder called Stiff Man Syndrome. For the first time, the singer spoke about the diagnosis in December 2022, then she postponed the concerts, which she was forced to cancel after a year.

Celine Dion’s disease suffers from increasingly nagging and painful muscle spasms. The pain in this condition is so strong that the artist might not be able to go on stage. The disease also prevents her from singing. When the artist first mentioned her diagnosis publicly, she emphasized that the contractions affect every aspect of her life.

Between one and two million people worldwide suffer from this extremely rare disease of the neurological system. Diagnosis is usually made between the ages of 30 and 60, and the condition is more common in women. Doctors currently do not know the cause of the disease and no cure has yet been developed. The development of the disease can only be slowed down by using appropriate therapy tailored to the patient.
