Father Michał Woźnicki has become famous on the Internet more than once for his controversial behavior. The priest from the altar insulted Pope Benedict XVI, another time he compared Jews to leeches and ticks in a sermon. The former Salesian was expelled from the Congregation, and in 2021 he was placed under suspension – he is forbidden to celebrate the Holy Mass, but this does not prevent him from further activities. The priest has moved his activities online, where he continues to spread his harmful views.
Former Salesian Michał Woźnicki shocks again. This time he commented on the death of Tina Turner
Since 2021, canonical proceedings have been pending in the Vatican regarding the removal of a priest from the priesthood. No wonder, the priest harms not only himself and the faithful, but also the image of priests. “Many will not pay attention to the fact that he is a lost man, they will only identify him with priests. He brings shame to the priesthood, especially Tradition,” wrote Daniel Wachowiak, a priest from the Archdiocese of Poznań, on social media.
Apart from matters of spirituality and the Church, the priest tends to refer to well-known names as well. The clergyman evaluates not only their life attitude, but also makes inappropriate remarks about appearance and age. He once called Maryla Rodowicz and Beata Kozidrak “old, rotten matrons”. In one of his last speeches he referred to death.
Father Woźnicki on Tina Turner: “Her songs will sing in hell”
In his speech, Woźnicki pointed out that Tina Turner had come to God’s judgment. Although the priest did not say it directly, it is clear from his statements where the singer’s “unclean” soul should go. “This lady will answer for all her songs, which, endowed with a great divine talent, promoted a type of woman that is the opposite of the modesty and purity of the holy mother” – announced the priest. Woznicki had reservations about Turner’s appearance and her stage choreography. “As an old woman, she was still able to perform in miniskirts with young men who walked on her knees in front of her. She will answer to God for the impurity she succumbed to and promoted for money,” says the scandalous former Salesian, posing in a priest’s robe background of religious symbols.
The sermon also hit the Polish artist, Maryla Rodowicz, with a ricochet. Woźnicki, without any reflection on how inappropriate it is to refer to someone’s age or appearance, said that the popular Polish singer “looks like a hideous”. Woźnicki has a similar opinion about the living members of The Beatles, although he admits that he does not know who from the group, apart from Lennon, has already died. Finally, the clergyman concluded that the stars of the 60s and 70s were just “creeping corpses who wrote unholy lyrics and music.”
