The 63-year-old artist protected the family very well until she married music producer Rafael Duque in 2003, and the marriage, which the Spanish newspaper Divinity recalls, took place on a schooner off the coast of Mallorca and was attended only by the singer’s brothers and a few friends.

She should have turned 44 then. Then, in 2005, she became the mother of her only daughter, whom she never wanted to present to the world and who is now 18 years old.

She was not aware of the danger, but she was happy and although she wanted her daughter to be born through a normal delivery, the pressure did not allow her to do so, so she ended up with a caesarean section. “I could decide that I wanted to stop and that I wanted to be one hundred percent dedicated to my daughter for at least the first two years, and I did that,” she admitted.

Jara is the name of Ana Torroja’s daughter and practically nothing is known about her except for some information that her own mother revealed in an interview, such as her passion for sports and new experiences.

There is no trace of her on social networks, and she hardly appears on the Instagram profile of the Spanish singer, but without her face being seen.

“Congratulations to all mothers who are celebrating the most beautiful gift of life today,” wrote Ana Torroja in the 2021 publication on the occasion of Mother’s Day, where her daughter can be seen hugging her from behind.

Ten years after giving birth to her daughter and supported by her own adventurous style, Ana Torroja and her family settled in Mexico, but she continued to maintain a connection with her native Spain, where she travels often.

In July 2021, Spanish media showed Ana Torroja hugging her daughter Jara during a final farewell to the artist’s father, José Antonio Torroja, who died at the age of 88.
