The user with the nickname @madamequasar published a series of three videos on TikTok in which she showed what finds were hidden in her grandparents’ freezer. It turned out that the elders kept frozen fruit, applesauce, egg yolks, butter or meat broth in it. It wouldn’t be surprising if it wasn’t for the fact that some of them were over 50 years old.
The creator’s grandparents were extremely meticulous, because they described each package in detail. Thanks to this, she not only knew what was in them, but also how long. Among the finds she discovered blackberries from 1972, strawberries from 1984, applesauce and raspberries from 1999 and blueberries from 1983 and 1997. In addition, the freezer also contained butter from 1992, 12 egg yolks from 1998 and meat stock from 1993.

In her opinion, the blueberries from 1993, raspberries and applesauce, which retained their structure, looked the best. It was definitely worse with blackberries and strawberries. The fruit had lost its color and looked like slush, and it didn’t smell very good. The author compared their consistency to the “brain”. Egg yolks and meat broth were no better, the smell and texture of which made her gag or curse.
