Bohdan Łazuka met his first love after escaping from his family home. At that time, he was a very young boy, working in sorting coal in the “Katowice” mine. A young and attractive peer immediately caught his attention. Later, Zofia Marcinkowska, two years his junior, appeared in his life, with whom he became involved during his studies. “Her beauty was phenomenal,” he said of her. And although they were considered a compatible and happy couple, the beloved abandoned Łazuka for another.
Soon, fate smiled upon him again. At Warsaw’s Contemporary Theater he met Barbara Wrzesińska, who became his first wife. The initial euphoria quickly, after only 3 months, ended in divorce, and the reason was supposedly the actor’s morbid jealousy. The other Łazuka was a dancer and soloist of the Grand Theatre, Daniela Pacholczyk, whom she met on the set of “Adventures with song”. He had been courting her for a relatively long time, but when she finally accepted the proposal, he lost interest and started looking for other women. “It wasn’t until years later that I realized I was a terrible egotist,” he would say many years later.

However, none of them managed to persuade him to marry. “I was delighted with the success I had with women, and I didn’t think of marrying one when I could have many,” he recalled. He changed his mind only in the early 1970s, when he met the dancer Małgorzata Viresco. The couple quickly got married, and the fruit of this relationship is a son, Adam. Everything stopped going when Lazuka started looking into the glass and committed treason.
A few years later, Krystyna Sienkiewicz introduced him to a fashion designer, Renata Węglińska. The couple hit it off right away and started dating. It seemed that he had finally found happiness and stability by her side. After the wedding, the couple welcomed a daughter, Olga, into the world. However, in 2001, after 21 years of marriage, they divorced. Over time, the bond between them began to re-establish and in 2010 they decided to give each other another chance. Today, they lead a peaceful and happy life, living in a small town near Warsaw.
