During the last press meeting, the president of Telewizja Polska talked about the upcoming costume productions that are in progress. He also shared information about the news that will soon be released on TV screens. It’s a historical movie. “Uncertainty”, which will tell the story of Adam Mickiewicz’s youthful love for Maryla Wereszczakówna.

“A 22-year-old boy, a young man, promises to be a great poet, but he also has a warm heart. He spends the summer at his friends’ mansion. The beautiful Maryla appears there. Young Adam’s heart beats stronger and stronger, but his closest friend Tomasz Zan is also there, who also looks at Maryla. There is a confrontation between the two men, from which Adam emerges victorious. Tomasz leaves, leaving space for his friend to find his life, happiness in Maryla…” – Mateusz Matyszkowicz summed up the plot of the film with these words, at the same time announcing the start of work on an extended series version.
On the other hand, the cast of “Uncertainty” will feature Nikodem Rozbicki, who will play the role of a bard, and Aleksandra Piotrowska will play Maryla Wereszczakówna. The other roles will be played by Adrian Zaremba and Marek Kalita, Dorota Landowska, Piotr Garlicki and Andrzej Mastalerz. Waldemar Szarek will be responsible for directing, for whom, according to the president of Telewizja Polska, it is “the work of his life”. This is a movie he’s dreamed of for a long time. He gives himself completely to him” – noted the president of TVP. The premiere of the film is scheduled for 2025.
Also for Nikodem Rozbicki, it may be one of the projects thanks to which his career will skyrocket. Until now, he was known mainly from series. Recently, he appeared in two Polsat productions – “Rodzina na Maxa” and “Bracia”. Earlier, he also appeared in such films as: “The End of the World, or Kogel Mogel 4”, “How to Marry a Millionaire” or “Letters to M. 3”.
