Great September extends the festival summer until mid-September. Then there will be an event with the participation of both top and debuting performers who will have the opportunity to present themselves to a wider audience. In addition, Great September is also a meeting place in the festival space for numerous panels and workshops on the music industry.
Great September 2023 announces more artists. Who will perform at the festival in Łódź?
It is already known that on the festival stage we will see, among others, Jann, beloved by Eurovision fans, Alicja Majewska, Kaśka Sochacka, Włodi and Guzior, celebrating the jubilee. To this diverse list, the organizers are adding more performers who will appear on the festival stages in Łódź over the three September days. During the event, “one of the most important albums of the last decade in Polish music” will be played live, reads the announcement of the festival. It’s about the album “Kawalerka” by Bitamina. The title apartment belonged to Mateusz Dopieralaski, i.e. Vito Bambino, the group’s singer and songwriter, who, together with his colleagues, hosted us with a thrilling mix of jazz, hip-hop and life stories.
In addition, Rosalie, called the queen of Polish r’n’b, will also appear on Great September. A good party will be started by Rat Kru for sure. Crazy duet playing electronics in a song edition. You can call it balancing on the border between art and kitsch, but it’s better to just experience it in front of the stage. Just like the concert of the legendary 19 Springs, which was formed in the late 1980s in Łódź in response to what was then played in Polish punk rock.

The Łódź scene will also be represented by Black Radio, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary. In addition, Lordofon from Warsaw – a combination of guitar playing and rap will play on Great September, Żurawie z Trójmiasta – a band drawing on alternative rock and electronic music, USO9001 – a mix of jazz and hip-hop, Sztylety band – representatives of post-hardcore, indie and noise rock, electropop Pola Nuda, Aga Bigaj, Paula Biskup, experimental rap in the form of Kondukt and the moody Bez and Hope.
Great September will take place on September 14-16 in many locations in Łódź. The main stage of Great September will be located on Piotrkowska Street and will be ticketless. Festival passes, including admission to all concerts and additional attractions, are already on sale for PLN 179 on the event website.
