Father Michał Woźnicki from Poznań is known for his controversial, even scandalous behavior and often vulgar statements. Let us remind you that the Salesian was expelled from the order and evicted from the religious house for his many crimes. Proceedings to remove him from the clerical state are currently underway.
At the beginning of February 2023, the media spread the news about the conviction of Fr. Woźnicki by the District Court in Poznań. The suspended priest was tried in court for anti-Semitism and incitement to hatred against the Jewish nation. During one of his last sermons, he even made threats to the judge. – The rope is waiting for him. It’s just a matter of when and where that tree is,” he said.
Despite this, Woźnicki still celebrates masses and preaches views that are harmful to many social groups. So far, he has been “famous” for, among others, a fight with another clergyman, he repeatedly insulted the faithful and sharply criticized the pope. The priest, however, still has a group of his “followers”.

The priest also happens to criticize his parishioners. The person repeatedly attacked by him is Mrs. Dorota, who appears at the services held by him. Earlier, he had insulted her in front of everyone, talking about her from the pulpit per “witch” or “liar”. He behaved similarly during the last meeting near the church in Wrocław, the recording of which was published on YouTube. The priest humiliated the parishioner by asking her a seemingly innocent question.
– Do you have any Hollywood connotations? he turned to the woman. When she silently declined, he replied:
And you look like an aging Hollywood star. Wearing such glasses is not acceptable to come to prayer in front of the church. I don’t agree! Not nice! So many times paid attention (…) Please look at yourself in the mirror through these glasses, how you look
– he said.
– It is not right to come to pray in front of the church regarding the restoration of the mass and be similar to some Hollywood or Polish starlet – he added.
Under the video there are many comments from Internet users. “I feel sorry for his followers,” says one of them. Many entries refer to a woman repeatedly insulted by the priest. “He wanted to humiliate someone again,” we read, among other things. Some commentators, in turn, wonder why, despite regular verbal attacks from Woźnicki, the woman still shows up at meetings.
