This year’s Polish preselection for Eurovision aroused great emotions. Although Blanka eventually went to Liverpool, a large part of the fans of the competition accused the national broadcaster of choosing the singer in unclear circumstances. It was only during the Eurovision rehearsals that the singer refined her voice and showed the haters what she could do. In the end, she placed 19th because she received low marks from the judges. If only votes from viewers’ votes were taken into account, Blanka would be in eighth position.
