The mystery of the mysterious death of 25-year-old Paulina Antczak from Wrocław, still unsolved, raises many doubts and speculations. When the young woman was dying, her boyfriend, Dawid Z, was sitting in the next room.

During the investigation, Dawid Z. was considered the main suspect. During repeated interrogations, Z. presented several versions of the entire story, which was to lead to the death of his partner. These versions were completely different from each other and mutually exclusive in many respects. It is not known whether any of them are close to the truth. It is known, however, that it was he who called the ambulance to the dying 25-year-old. He claimed that he resuscitated the woman in accordance with the instructions of the 112 dispatcher, but the latter admitted after 2 years that he had not given him any instructions at that time. At 3.30 Z., however, managed to send an SMS to Paulina’s father saying: “Speak, Paulina is dead”, and at 5.05 in the morning he called the ambulance service, the portal reported. It remains a mystery what he did for the hour and a half between these activities.

What is also very significant in this case – and what the Onet reporter has repeatedly described in his publications – the police and the prosecutor’s office made a lot of mistakes over the years of the investigation.

Dawid z. – despite the fact that he completely changed his version of events many times – was finally acquitted of the charge of “involuntary manslaughter and failure to help Paulina Antczak”. The court issued an acquittal in May 2022. However, Paulina’s parents filed a private prosecution. They managed to obtain permission to exhume their daughter’s body. They paid for the autopsy and toxicological tests, which, surprisingly, the prosecutor’s office (which had not previously recognized the need to investigate the case) had not commissioned – reports Onet.

Since the parents of the 25-year-old who died in unexplained circumstances received the test results, they have no doubt that their daughter was the victim of homicide. They emphasize that when she was dying – she stayed in the apartment only with her ex-boyfriend. Amiodarone, a substance that entered her body when the girl was still alive, was detected in Paulina’s blood. It was supposed to be a toxic dose in a very high concentration. This fact – according to the experts – indicates the involvement of third parties in her death.

In May 2023, Onet reported that the court would reconsider the case of the mysterious death of Paulina Antczak. At the request of the 25-year-old’s parents, their attorneys and even the prosecutor’s office, the District Court in Wrocław will look at her.

“Our daughter was killed”

The parents of the tragically deceased woman are still fighting for justice. For over eight years, they have been doing everything possible to find out who could have fatally harmed their child. They want to change the legal qualification of the act in terms of murder. – I expected that the case would not be conducted from the same article, because everything is clear here. (…). After all, no one else was at the scene of death. The accused himself testified that he was the only one with Paulina – Paulina’s mother told Onet journalist Tomasz Pajączek.
