Zinegoak extols diversity in his poster this year

The Bilbao LGTBIQ+ film and performing arts festival, Zinegoak, will be held from June 26 to July 3, coinciding with 28-J, one of the emblematic dates in LGTBIQ+ claims.
With just over a month to go until its start, the contest management has presented the official poster for this edition.
The author of the festival’s image, the Bilbao designer Estela Osorio, explained that “we did not want to define the material so that it conveys different sensations, but at the same time we have also sought to nod to the 20th anniversary of Zinegoak, using a creamy texture and pink, which also connects us with the idea of celebration”.
On the 20th anniversary of the festival, its artistic director, Alaitz Arenaza, affirms that they aspire for Zinegoak to continue being “a forum for discussion, denunciation and reflection on sexual, identity and gender diversity through culture”.
