Loreen reacts to a parody of her performance. She couldn’t get the words out!

The 39-year-old Loreen is the winner of this year’s Eurovision and at the same time the first woman who managed to win the contest for the second time. During the competition, she was alone on the stage, but the greatest emotions were caused by her unnaturally long fingernails. During a visit to BBC Radio 2, the artist had to confront the parody of her performance. Her reaction may cause even more laughter.

Loreen, or actually Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui, is a Swedish singer of Moroccan-Berber origin, born in Akersberg. She gained publicity in 2011 during the Melodifestivalen competition, during which the national Eurovision qualifiers were held. Although she didn’t manage to win then, she did it a year later with the song “Euphoria”, which also won her a diamond microphone at the competition in Baku.

Loreen’s performance as crawling under the kitchen table

She did the impossible again eleven years later. The artist is also this year’s winner of Eurovision, thanks to which she entered the history of the competition as the first woman who managed to win Eurovision twice. She performed the song “Tattoo”, which was already considered a favorite to win. Before the final, there were also discussions that the song was plagiarism, but officially no such irregularities were found.

On Monday, May 15, Loreen was the guest of Scott Mills’ broadcast on BBC Radio 2. The 50-year-old journalist is one of the greatest media personalities in Great Britain and is also considered a Eurovision specialist. In the past, he was a commentator of the semi-finals of the competition many times. He decided to prepare something special for the visit of the winner of this year’s edition. During the live broadcast, he showed the singer a recording of the Swedish actress and dancer Katrin Sundberg, who masterfully parodied the singer’s Eurovision performance.

One of the most characteristic elements of the singer’s performance were her unnaturally long nails. Sundberg decided to emphasize this in her recording. In addition, she decided to perform choreography under the table, and in terms of vocals, she focused the most attention on backing vocals. Loreen and Mills burst out laughing together as soon as the tape was turned on. The singer at first could not contain her emotions and only after a few seconds she managed to say: “Oh my God, she’s great!”.

She later praised the comedian’s nails, to which the journalist replied that they were the longest nails she could see under the kitchen table. Moments later, Mills realized that the arm of his chair had fallen off, commenting that it could now be used as his “long fingernail”. In this way, all three can meet with the same attribute.
