Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle and Doria Ragland, the actress’ mother, were chased by paparazzi for almost two hours in New York, causing multiple collisions on the roads and several injuries.

At least half a dozen vehicles chased after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, while police cars shielded their car.

The incident happened after Enrique, Markle and their mother went to see the actress accept an award at a ceremony in the Big Apple. At the exit, they entered the van accompanied by police officers. Allegedly, the chase started then.

A spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said “this relentless pursuit, which lasted over 2 hours, resulted in multiple near misses involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and 2 NYPD officers.”

Traffic offenses committed by papparazi include driving on the sidewalk, running a red light, and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

This persecution recalls the death of Princess Diana, the mother of Prince Harry and Prince William, the heir to the British crown. Diana died in a car accident while being chased by paparazzi in Paris, France in 1997. (AND)
