The reduction will take place if the person earns 70% of the average monthly salary for the calendar quarter, and the suspension – if he earns 130% and more.

How much you can earn in retirement is regulated by the information published by the President of the Central Statistical Office for the quarter. In the first quarter of 2023, it amounted to PLN 7,124.26 gross. According to “”, taking into account the presented data, from June 1, benefits will be reduced after exceeding the threshold of PLN 4,987 gross (70% of the average monthly salary) and suspended after earning PLN 9,261.54 gross (130% of the average monthly salary). Until the end of May 2023, the limits for making extra money are PLN 4,713.50 gross and PLN 8,753.60 gross – the assumed change is thus beneficial for beneficiaries by up to several hundred zlotys.
