On the stem of the orchid, we can find several thickenings. It’s bud remnants. Thanks to them, you can easily multiply flowers. How to use them to grow new seedlings? There are two ways to do this. After the orchid has faded, cut it above the lowest of the buds. The rest, together with the root system, soak in a bowl of water. Do this for 10 minutes once a week.

Remember to remove excess liquid from the surrounding casing after each watering of the flower. Excess water can have a bad effect on its development. By following this trick, you will see that soon after cutting off the old stems, the plant will sprout new buds. Check the health of the orchid regularly over the next few weeks. Flowers can be quite “capricious”. If you notice any disturbing symptoms, immediately provide the plant with the necessary nutrients.

The spice will help you propagate your orchids. Sprinkle the stem and you will protect it from diseases

Another way to propagate orchids uses previously cut stems. Both tricks were presented by the well-known tiktoker Armen Adamjan, using the nickname creative_explained. His orchid video has garnered over 40,000 likes. In the material, the man cuts the stem just above the third thickening of the bud. Then he drops a thin layer of moss into the container and condenses it with water.

The cut stem should be placed in the cinnamon and then placed in the ground. The spice has an antifungal effect, thanks to which it will protect the plant against various types of diseases. The seedling should also be sprinkled with bark, and then covered with a plastic bottle. Every few days, spray the young flower with water. Soon after, the orchid will sprout roots. When you spot them, repot into a pot filled with bark. Thanks to this, it will release the first buds much faster.
