The mistake of the Swedes resulted from the fact that during the Polish pre-selection, Edyta Górniak’s son sat next to Blanka and followed the course of the elimination, which also raised doubts in Poland. The Swedish commentator apparently interpreted the Polish artist’s relationship with Allan Krupa as romantic, because he decided to make a malicious accusation. “Among the experts was Edyta Górniak, who, if it is true, is Blanka’s mother-in-law. (…) I do not want to use this word, but it smells a bit of nepotism,” said Szwed. Earlier, the journalist confused the number of jurors deciding who from Poland will go to Eurovision.
The accidents were very easy to avoid. Immediately after the Polish pre-selection, Blanka strongly denied any insinuations suggesting that she had a romantic relationship with Allan Krupa. “I met him the moment I sat next to him,” the artist declared in an interview with the Plejada portal.
