In Saturday’s final, Blanka presented herself as the fourth in line. In total, there were representatives of 26 countries that either qualified during the semi-finals or were in the last round due to the fact that they belong to the so-called The Big Five (Great Britain, Italy, Germany, France, Spain) or won in the previous year – in this case it was Ukraine.
Which place did Blanka take at Eurovision? The jury rated it poorly
Hosts Hannah Waddingham and Graham Norton connected with representatives of the jury from all the participating countries in turn, and it turned out that the specialists liked the most: Sweden, Israel and Italy. Blanka was rated the best by the jury of Ukraine, from which she received 6 points. In total, she collected only 12 and after the announcement of the national jurors’ decision she was in 24th position with 12 points.
This year, for the first time in history, not only the members of the jury and viewers from the countries participating in the competition voted. Votes, for example, could be cast by people from all over the world using the Eurovision application. So everything was to be expected. The table could even turn upside down – although the Swede Loreen was one of the favorites from the beginning.
Eurovision 2023. How did the audience vote?
Viewers’ votes were added starting from the last to the first place in the table. After the announcement of Poland’s result, it turned out that Poland has another 81 points. So the sum is 93 points. Thanks to this, Blanka from “Solo” was even in the first half of the rate for a while.
So which places did Blanka take at Eurovision in the end? The Polish representative was in the 19th position. The winner was Sweden, the second place was taken by Finland, which was rated fantastic by the viewers (definitely took first place here). Israel was also on the podium. Fourth and fifth places are respectively Italy and Norway, which jumped into the top five from the second half of the table thanks to popularity among TV viewers.
