Entupe brings together university theater groups in a blended edition

The meeting, which started this Monday, is organized by the Arawa Theater and the Directorate of Art, Culture and Heritage of the University of Guayaquil.

Until this Friday the Meeting of University and Polytechnic Theater of Ecuador (Entupe), This year it is held under a blended format with the participation of theater groups from various educational institutions in Guayaquil, Azuay, Cañar and Manabí.

The meeting, which started this Monday, is organized by the Arawa Theater and the Directorate of Art, Culture and Heritage of the University of Guayaquil in homage to the 154th anniversary of the founding of this institution. This is how it has three faculties of the university and the Arawa House as its main headquarters.

For this Tuesday, at 18:00, in the Arawa room (Chile and Av. Olmedo) the work is presented An accused actor. At 18:30, Casa Grande University presents Hamlet Machine The Odyssey of a Soliloquy. Finally, At 7:00 p.m, the Theater Workshop of the University of Guayaquil presents the video drama The Wheatfield … with three cheerful tigers.

For this Wednesday, at 11:00, The group of Theater Espol will present the work Q.E.P.D., by José Martínez Queirolo, at the FEDER faculty. Meanwhile, at 17:00, will develop a virtual conversation called “The political thing in the theater”, in charge of Antonio Celico, Ilonka Vargas and Alejandro Moreano. Meanwhile, at 19:00, the turn will be for the Ensamble Theater that presents in the Casa Arawa (Chile and Av. Olmedo) An imaginary line that is sought and cannot be found.

Meanwhile, Thursday’s session includes a performance of the play Therapy, from the Manabí Technical University, in the Faculty of Architecture, at 11:00. The meeting will culminate on Friday with the play November 1922: Since the massacre, hunger tastes of blood, presented by the UG Theater Workshop and directed by Juan Coba Caiza y Juan Antonio Coba.
