Katarzyna Dowbor was a very popular presenter – for years in TVP, then in Polsat, where she shot 20 seasons of the program “Our New Home”. Next Monday, the creators of the program will start shooting the next season, but with a new host. Episodes with Elżbieta Romanowska will be shown on Polsat in the fall.
Who is Elżbieta Romanowska?
Romanowska is a well-known actress – she could be seen, among others, in in the series “Ranczo”, “Life itself”, “First love”, “The world according to Kiepski”, and soon the production of Polsat Box Go “Swaci” with the participation of the actress will premiere. She also appeared in Polsat’s “Dancing with the Stars”, where in the fifth edition of the program together with Rafał Maserak she reached the final. She went as far in the 11th edition of the “Your Face Sounds Familiar” program.
And although we can keep our fingers crossed for Romanowska’s successful start, we cannot fail to notice the bitterness of many viewers. Edward Miszczak’s decision to say goodbye to Katarzyna Dowbor (you can guess from her comments that she had no influence on it) surprised m.in. colleagues from “Our New Home” and fans of the program. A lot of support for Dowbor appeared on the web, and now voices that it cannot be replaced.
About the new host of “Our New Home”: Mrs. Ela is a really good actress, but …
On the official Instagram profile of Polsat you can read, among others: “Ms. Ela is a really good actress, but it was Kasia Dowbor who created the image of this program. We all associate her with Kasia Dowbor”, I keep my fingers crossed for Ms. Ela, because she will not have an easy task. It won’t be the same without Kasia.
No one can replace Kasia, people love her. You’ll see how you lose viewership.
We will see in the fall how the change of the host will affect the viewership of the “Our New Home” program. However, under the announcement of the latest episode, we will find many comments expressing loyalty to Katarzyna Dowbor. “A bit sad, because it is known that Kasia will no longer be there”, “I only watch the episode in which you run the program” – you can read on Instagram.
