Beata Ścibakówna wishes Jan Englert. “Keep it up Jay”
On the occasion of her husband’s birthday, Beata Ścibakówna published a post on Instagram in which she mentioned Englert’s best performance in her opinion. It is the title role in “Ryszard III”, a 1993 play by Teatr Polski.
The first photo is displayed when you call me. The second as Richard III, in my opinion your best role ever. The third in the lens of Zofia Nasierowska, when I didn’t know you yet. The fourth shows the distance to the profession, etc … etc … I recommend the last one with a surprising caption. It’s a special birthday! Keep it up Jaz!
– Ścibakówna wrote in the post. The last photo actually has a surprising caption, because the photograph of little Jan Englert was accompanied by a sentence in English meaning “Hollywood’s youngest star”.
In the comments, other stars and fans of Englert joined the wishes of the actress.
Amazing photos! Great roles! Wonderful man! 100 years of health, love and peace.
Master, Great Man, Great Name remembered forever, all the best.
For me, the best photo from 1943 with this dedication, or rather with a message that came true. Thank God we have Mr. John, not Hollywood.
Jan Englert accepted his illness and age. Praying for a “quick and healthy death”
Some time ago, Jan Englert in the book “Without applause” confessed that he had been diagnosed with an aneurysm in the carotid aorta. Surgery at this age is not possible, but the actor does not care about health problems at all. On the contrary, he has already come to terms with the diagnosis and death.
I really think the best thing I can do for myself at my age is pray for a quick and healthy death. To die healthy. That would be fantastic. I know it’s terrible for the loved ones who stay, but for the client – perfect
– sincerely in “Without applause”.
