Eurovision 2023 has officially started. During the first semi-final of this year’s competition, 15 countries took the stage in Liverpool. Among them, the representative of Poland, Blanka, with the song “Solo” did not appear. The artist will present the song only in the second semi-final, which will take place on Thursday.
The report from the event could be watched on Polish Television from 21:00. The broadcast was also available on the official Eurovision channel – Eurovision Song Contest on YouTube. The performances were also shown by TVP on its website tvp.pl. However, the relationship only lasted for a while. Suddenly, the broadcast on the website of Telewizja Polska was interrupted.
After Lithuania’s performance, a screen appeared on the screen with the words “End” and “Thank you, the broadcast has ended”. The rest of the competition was no longer available online for Polish-speaking fans of the event. It is difficult to say what were the reasons for the interruption of live coverage. Perhaps there were more people willing to watch Eurovision 2023 than expected and the servers were down.
