The dating show “Magic of Nudity” originated in the UK, where it premiered in 2016. This year, the eighth edition of this unusual format has already started, in which people pair up based on their appearance without clothes. This dating show completely departed from the patterns we knew from previous programs of this type on TV. The idea appealed to many people from all over the world and “The Magic of Nudity” has many local versions. In 2021, the Polish edition of the program was created, led by Beata Olga Kowalska.
A surprising situation in “The Magic of Nudity”. One of the participants returned after many years
In one of the episodes of the latest British edition of “The Magic of Nudity”, host Anna Richardson welcomed Sarah, whom she had the opportunity to meet a few years ago as David. However, since then, a very significant change has taken place in her life. The 54-year-old is now transitioning and came to the show to seek love as a proud transgender woman. In an interview with the British portal, she confessed that although this is her second participation in the program, she feels completely different now:
I was on the show, Sarah was on the show and David was on the show, and we’re actually quite different people. So even though I’m a returning participant, it’s actually two different people doing it.
This is how “Magic of Nudity” makes history for the LGBT+ community, as it is the first time that the same man has appeared both before and after a gender change on the popular dating TV show. Sarah later added that she feels much more confident as a pansexual trans woman: “Going through this transformation is a constant stepping out of your comfort zone – almost daily in some cases. And in doing so, you actually find that you develop incredible confidence myself”.

The participant also mentioned the positive image she can create thanks to her participation in “The Magic of Nudity”. She stated that in this way, society can be identified with transsexual people, where you can see, as she herself admitted, their human side. She also believes that her speech has educational value, thanks to which she was less afraid.
Sarah also shared how her approach was different in Nudity Magic when she starred in it as David. “One of the things I’ve learned is that the most attractive thing about a person is the eyes and the smile. You can tell so much from it. (…) And yet as David I went with a typically masculine attitude and it didn’t work. He wasn’t looking for a deeper connection.” That is why it was only the second time that she managed to find her life companion in the program – Keisha. Nine months after recording the show, and despite the great distance between the two women, they try to see each other as often as possible and want to build their relationship.
