On April 30, Lillian drove her car through the woods towards the city of Dartmouth. At some point, she realized she had taken a wrong turn and tried to turn back, but the vehicle got stuck in the mud. There was no coverage in the forest, so despite having a mobile phone, the woman was unable to call for help. Due to problems, she was also unable to go on a long journey on foot. So Lillian decided to stay in the car, which seemed the safest to her at the time.
Later that day, the woman’s family alerted the police because they could not contact her. The search began quickly and lasted 5 days. Lillian’s vehicle was spotted from a helicopter and a local police car was guided to the location.
