One of the quickest and easiest ways to get rid of pigeons from the balcony is to use vinegar from the kitchen, the smell of which they cannot stand. It can be used in two ways.

  1. Vinegar spray — To prepare the liquid, just mix vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio and pour into a bottle with an atomizer. Then apply the mixture on the entire balcony, not forgetting the railings where pigeons like to hang out. The trick is worth repeating from time to time, especially after rain or a windy day.
  2. Cotton pads soaked in vinegar – Soak them directly in the liquid and spread them in the corners of the balcony. They need to be replaced with new ones from time to time. Thanks to this, the pigeons, feeling the unpleasant smell, will look for a new place to live.

Instead of vinegar, you can also soak the flakes in mothballs. The action will bring the same results. If the pigeons have already built a nest on your balcony, make sure you dispose of it legally. According to Article 52 of April 16, 2004 on nature protection, this can be done from October 16 to the end of February each year.
