This May 3, the 16th anniversary of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann was remembered, and her younger sister Amelie appeared publicly for the first time.

Madeleine disappeared in 2007 when they were on holiday in Portugal when she was just three years old. Since that date, her whereabouts are no longer known, and in recent weeks a Polish woman claimed that she was the missing girl, but it turned out that this was not the case.

Madeleine McCann’s mother reveals the information she “gave” that led to her daughter’s mysterious disappearance 16 years ago

At the memorial service, which was held at the war memorial in Rothley, Leicester, Amelie joined her parents and other attendees in lighting candles for the missing children, saying it was good “that everyone is here together, but this is a sad occasion.”

It’s the first time Amelie has been photographed since she was little, so it gives a glimpse of what Madeleine would be like today. His other brother, Sean, did not appear.

In the same way, it was possible to recognize one of my mother’s close friends who was on vacation in Portugal. She read a poem by Emily Dickinson.

Madelein would have been 19 years old if she were alive, however, the authorities’ version would say that the minor would have died.

On the Find Madeleine Campaign Facebook page, Gary and Kate, Madeleine’s parents, left a poem by Clare Pollard, which ends with the words: “The police investigation continues and we await a breakthrough.”
