US5: they were one of the most popular boy bands in Poland
US5 (not to be confused with Just 5) is a boy band formed in 2005. Members were selected on the show “Big in America” and auditions were held in the United States and Germany. The band enjoyed the greatest popularity in Poland in 2006-2008. Teenagers all over the country had a crush on the singers.
The band disbanded in 2010, and some members went through an extremely unfavorable metamorphosis. Jay Khan has not changed a bit, although the passage of time has not spared Christopher Izzy Gallegos.
O-Zone: this hit was humming all over Poland. How have they changed?
Remember O-Zone? The Moldavian band in 2004 hit the charts in many European countries. All thanks to the song “Dragostea din tei”. The hit also owed its popularity to the music video in which Dan Balan, Radu Alexei Sârbu and Arsenie Todiras dance in and on the plane.
The band broke up in 2005, in 2017 its reactivation was announced. What do boy band members look like today? Dan Balan was a juror in the show “The Voice”, Arsenium still continues his solo career. Today Radu lives in Bucharest and produces music.
Alizee: The French singer will turn 38 in August. She changed a lot?
Several years ago, Alizee was one of the most popular French singers. Hits such as “Moi … Lolita” ensured her great popularity also in Poland. And although her older songs are still played on our radio stations, today outside France she is not so popular anymore.
The world career did not last long, but the singer did not stop recording in her native country. She released her last studio album in 2014. In 2005, she gave birth to a daughter, Annily, in 2019 – Maggy.
