Garzocentro: ‘Experience the adventure of reading’
This weekend, the Garzocentro shopping center dedicates a space for reading and the family from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. A drawing and painting workshop with the teacher’s manual is planned for this Sunday Marco Martinez, a storytelling session Alejandra Suarez and painted faces.
There is also an exhibition, sale and exchange of books and comics from various local booksellers and publishers, such as: Manglar Editores, literary figure, The Green Faun, U.Artes Ediciones, Ágora booksamong other things.

Cycle at the MAAC: ‘From book to cinema’
The cycle takes place in the MAAC room ‘From the book to the cinema’, which screens three films based on universal literature classics. Free entrance.
There will be a screening on Tuesday, April 25 at 5:30 PM No news at the front (1930), based on the novel by Eric Maria Remarque. The film won Oscars for best picture and best director.
There will be a presentation on Wednesday 26 April at 5.30 pm Oliver Twist (1933), based on the novel by Charles Dickens. It is the first sound adaptation of this popular story.
There will be a screening on Thursday, April 27 at 5:30 PM Moby Dick (1956), based on the novel by Herman Melville. It is the most celebrated film adaptation of this famous 19th century book.
Each screening is concluded with a forum led by the researcher Freddy Aviles, to reveal little-known aspects of the books and movies.
