Married at First Sight is a show that aired in 2016. Initially, the program was broadcast on the station, the fourth and fifth seasons could be watched on TVN 7. From the sixth edition, the wedding returned to TVN. The program, in which the participants get to know each other only on the wedding carpet, and after a month they have to decide whether they continue their relationship or get a divorce, is very popular. Fans were surprised by the lack of the ninth edition in the spring of 2023. Will the reality show return to the air?

In the summer of 2022, the search for willing participants for the next edition of the program was announced. Shooting was to begin shortly after the applicants were selected. In the spring of 2023, however, “Marriage at first sight” did not appear on the air, and in the schedule it was replaced with the program “Teens … rule the money.” – This is a very engaging format that requires an appropriate approach and reflection, because we touch on a subject that is important to people. We do not present only happy dates there, so we do not want to treat the emotions evoked in this program lightly – this is how Lidia Kazen, director of the TVN channel, explained the lack of a show in the spring schedule in an interview with the portal. As the service found out, the ninth series of the program will return to TVN in the fall. It was probably necessary to re-record part or all of the season of Married at First Sight.

It is not known who will sit on the panel of experts in the program. In the previous, eighth edition of “Wedding at First Sight”, the experts were Karolina Tuchalska-Siermińska and Magdalena Chorzewska. All fragments of the eighth season recorded with the participation of psychologist Rafał Olszak were cut from the program. The reason was Olszak’s posts on the internet full of stereotypes hurting women and the criticism that fell on both the psychologist and the station. Magdalena Chorzewska left the “Marriage at First Sight” program and currently co-creates the “Psychological Channel” on YouTube. Karolina Tuchalska-Siermińska also decided to say goodbye to the station.
