Spring suits Madrid very well. So much so that before his expected Book Fair in the Retiro Park and its mythical patron saint festivities of San Isidrohas been inaugurated April 19 the Arganzuela Book Fairspecifically on the Madrid Río esplanade located next to the Matadero Cultural Center (Paseo de la Chopera no. 6), which extends until Sunday April 23.

This is the second edition of the Fair, which aims to promote the book and publishing sector of the district, as well as promoting reading among the population and supporting small bookstores. This cultural event has a series of activities and events for all audiencesas well as different booths for selling books, and admission is completely free.

From Wednesday April 19 to Sunday April 23 there is a total 15 participating bookstores with different guest authors, more than 20 activities and 60 book signingsin addition to different recitals, cultural events and book presentations; a literary event that no lover of reading and culture should miss. In addition, this year it has the novelty of the installation of a center stage in which different activities take place such as poetry recitals and various book presentations.
