How to shave your legs step by step? These tips will help get rid of irritation
In many cases, irritation after shaving results from inadequate skin care, which must be well prepared for such a procedure. Thanks to this, the risk of the appearance of “strawberry legs” will be much lower. The tiktoker from the @groszekcukierkowy profile shared her tips. In a short material, Lila lists the order in which individual activities should be performed to avoid irritation.
How to shave without irritation? Step by step instruction:
- Lila recommends taking care of the regular use of peeling. If you plan to shave your legs, do your favorite scrub the day before. You can also make a homemade version by mixing a few tablespoons of sugar with a bit of olive oil or coconut oil to make a thick mass.
- The second step is to ensure proper slippage. You do not need to use dedicated products for this purpose, because a bit of conditioner that you apply to your hair will work just as well.
- After shaving your legs, moisturize them well with your favorite lotion.
In the comments below the material, there were comments from people who admitted that the method works. They also shared their tricks to get rid of irritation.
I do the same, only first washing, shaving, sugar/coffee scrub, then brushing and cream – no irritation, and legs as smooth as a baby’s.
It works!
One change is enough to get rid of irritation. You will quickly forget about “strawberry legs”
If the above tips do not work, the cause of irritation may be different. It is worth taking a look at the razor we use here. It may turn out that the soap placed on it causes pimples to appear on the skin. Some people may be allergic to them, which will lead to irritation. Then it is worth testing different razors to find the right one for you or try a different method of hair removal, e.g. waxing. In the comments under the video shared by @groszekcukierkowy there were voices that some people got rid of the problem after using a different razor.
I recommend changing the razor to a metal one with a replaceable razor blade (the old type). It helped me, ordinary disposables caused irritation.
