Theater, dance, rap and circus predominate in the artistic manifestations of the festival program for this day.
As part of the School of the International Festival of Living Arts Loja 2021 (FIAVLab), the Ecuadorian dancer, choreographer and teacher Christian Masabanda offers the dance workshop ‘Space, body and movement’ (for intermediate or advanced dancers), at 10:00, in room 832 of the Private Technical University of Loja (UTPL).
Manobanda has a degree in Contemporary Dance and Artistic Education from the Veracruzana University (Mexico), and a teacher in Advanced Studies of UNIR Theater (Spain). It is director of the Callejón Vacío collective, member of the National Dance Company of Ecuador and teacher of the Dance career at the Central University of Ecuador.
Rap and documentary meeting ‘Rapyala’

Andean folklore with Grupo Asiri
Asiri Female Folklore Group from Loja arrives with the musical proposal Folklore with a woman’s face (for all audiences), in the Plaza de la Cultura, at 4:00 p.m. They perform folk melodies with Andean wind instruments, such as zampoña, quena, charango and Andean bombo, together with guitar and piano, to create a fusion of rhythms and styles.
Circus theater, circus without tent
