Although actor Drake Bell wanted to play down his 15-hour disappearance, the reasons reportedly included even a suicide threat.

He TMZ entertainment site received a 911 call, where someone from the Orlando Police Department explained why the officers were deeply concerned for Drake’s welfare. An officer who contacted another police department, trying to get the location of Drake’s cell phone, characterized the situation as a “possible suicide attempt” and said… “Basically, there’s a celebrity who had an argument with his wife.”

The 36-year-old translator allegedly argued with his wife, Janet von Schmeling, minutes before getting into his car. The couple’s alleged conflict would be over the custody of their son Joe, as they have reportedly been in the process of divorcing since last January.

The singer contacted his brother to inform him that he was visiting his baby in Winter Park, Florida, but the situation did not go as expected, so he threatened to get drunk and commit suicide.

Bella’s brother reported the call to the Daytona Beach police station because he was “disturbed and making suicidal statements” in the text messages he sent to his mother before driving aimlessly.

Although he has already deleted the post, which was seen by more than 2.5 million people on Twitter, Drake Bell wrote: “You leave your phone in your car, you don’t answer at night and this happens?”

Bell starred in Nickelodeon’s “The Amanda Show” and “Drake & Josh” in the early 2000s. (AND)
