Argentine singer Piero has just been admitted to Ecuador. The translator was in the country as part of his Winds and changes of hope tour, which he planned to take to Cuenca, Quito and Guayaquil.

She announced the news with a post published on her Instagram profile by the inn Caballo Campana, in Cuenca, exactly where the 77-year-old musician was supposed to give his first performance on the night of this Saturday, April 15.

“We communicate that the artist is Piero hospitalized in intensive care, with a cautious prognosis. We await his clinical evolution in the next 96 hours. For this reason, the concert planned for this Saturday, April 15, at HosterĂ­a Caballo Campana has been canceled, as well as their performances in the cities of Quito and Guayaquil. We hope for a speedy recovery to get him back on stage. We appreciate the great reception we had for the event, waiting for the new rescheduled date,” reads the April 12 announcement.

Namely, after this Sunday, April 16, when the 96 hours of hospitalization expire, there could be news about the singer-songwriter’s health. In addition, it was learned that Piero planned to sing in Guayaquil on Thursday the 13th, the day after his hospitalization, and then in Quito on Friday the 14th of April.
