Marcin Czekałek began his musical adventure at the age of 10, when he started learning to play the classical guitar. Later, he studied under the guidance of the Spanish guitarist Carlos Pinana, gaining knowledge and skills in the field of flamenco techniques. Years of hard work have made him develop a unique sound, which he decided to present to a wider audience. As a 15-year-old, he took part in the 9th edition of the Polish program “Must Be the Music”, and three years later he appeared in the Italian “Te Si Que Vales”.
However, the greatest popularity brought him participation in the American, in which he reached the semi-finals. At the castings, he presented a combination of Beethoven’s music with System of a Down. His unusual ideas were liked not only by the viewers, but also by the jurors. Although Marcin Czekałek did not win the program, he gained a group of loyal fans who support him in his career development. When he dropped out of the talent show, the American branch of Sony Music signed him to a record deal. The young guitarist tries to combine the development of his passion with everyday duties. In autumn 2022, his debut concert tour “Initiation Tour” took place, during which he performed in the largest cities in Poland. Now the 23-year-old artist returns to the US to perform at the music industry trade show – NAMM.
