Despite this, many still fondly remember the time spent in front of the screen solving mathematical puzzles. The hosts were Daria Trafankowska and January Brunov. How did their fates go?

Before the “Crazy Numbers” program debuted on the air, Daria Trafankowska already had a rich filmography. A graduate of the Łódź film school, she regularly performed both on the stage of the capital’s theaters and on the screen. In addition, she fulfilled herself as a lecturer and radio journalist. As Dusia in television mathematical puzzles, she gained popularity and recognition from a wider audience. She strengthened her position in the industry with the role of Danuta Dębska-Tetter in the series “For Good and Bad”, with which she was associated from 1999 until her death.
Privately, the actress had an unsuccessful marriage with director Waldemar Dziki. The fruit of this union was a son, Wit. They initially got along both privately and professionally, and she appeared in her husband’s films many times. However, the relationship did not stand the test of time. In 2003, Trafankowska became involved with a friend from the old days, Jan. After 5 months they got engaged, but their happiness was interrupted by a shocking diagnosis. The actress was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Despite chemotherapy and expensive treatment in Austria, her life could not be saved. April 9, 2023 marks the 19th anniversary of Daria Trafankowska’s death.

January Brunov is also an actor by profession. He studied at the Wrocław branch of the Kraków PWST. He made his screen debut in 1989 in the film “The Last Ferry”. Before he took over the role of co-host of “Crazy Numbers” he already had several significant roles, but it was the program that brought him the greatest popularity among viewers. A wider audience can associate him with such productions as “Ojciec Mateusz”, “Colours of Happiness”, “Time of Honor” or “Under the Surface”. As a dubbing actor, he provided his voice in many animations, fairy tales and games, e.g. he is the Polish voice of the main character of the cartoon “The World According to Ludwiczka”.
On February 12, 2023, January Brunov celebrated his 59th birthday. The actor is still professionally active. As a lector, he regularly lends his voice to advertisements for one of the most popular chains of stores with consumer electronics and household appliances. He also fulfills himself as a producer. In the late 1990s, he founded his own company, which he develops in parallel with his career.
