Ewa Gawryluk knows the Polish film industry inside out. She is well known to TV viewers as Ewa Hoffer from the series “Na Wspólnej”, but she made her debut in front of the cameras much earlier, in 1989 with a small role in the film “Windmills from Ranley”. At that time, as she claims in an interview, actresses were treated only as ornaments. Ewa Gawryluk talked to the journalist of the website “” about difficult beginnings, courageous sessions and works of chance.

In the latest interview, Gawryluk recalls the beginnings of his career. At that time, many directors offered actresses mainly bold roles, forcing them to reveal intimate parts of the body. Ewa Gawryluk, considered an exceptional beauty, also received such proposals very often. “Once some unreliable journalist counted that I undressed on camera 30 times. Later, others picked up on this information and replicated it. And that’s not true!” she says.
In an interview with a journalist, she also confessed that the world of cinema has changed significantly over the years, especially in terms of playing intimate scenes. Currently, on film sets, actors are accompanied by intimacy coordinators who provide support and help.

At one point, Gawryluk also mentioned a famous photo shoot for Playboy magazinein which she participated in 1997. And not at all for money, but to have a “nice souvenir”. It caused a media buzz. There were also critical comments.
– I heard that from a few colleagues in the theater Actors don’t do things like that. But I let it in one ear and out the other – says Gawryluk. At the same time, she emphasizes that now she would have to think hard about accepting a role that requires exposing intimate parts of the body. In the past, there was much more pressure on the actresses with such decisions.
