The long-awaited movie Super Mario Bros. arrives in theaters this Wednesday, April 5, with a great cast and an epic plot, true to the adventures of the beloved and popular Italian plumber belonging to the franchise of Nintendo.
For almost four decades Super Mario Brothers is an icon in the world of pop culture. Mario and Luigiin their infamous red and green overalls and caps, are as prominent as ever, with the movie featuring the plumbers, unsurprisingly, stomping on goomba, throwing fireballs and sliding down pipes.

The news of Pratt as Mario came as a surprise to fans just like him Charles Martinet (voice of Mario and Luiggi in the video games) had previously expressed interest on the paper.
Pratt made it known that he was part of the project by sharing a video announcing his role on Instagram and expressing his excitement. “It’s me (it’s me)”, he wrote, referring to Mario’s exaggerated Italian-American accent, “you’ll have to wait to hear the voice, but we worked hard on it.”

The plot of the Super Mario movie has been largely kept under wraps. The movie is so, so reserved, that the plot details were even withheld from the cast of votes. Charlie Day remarked that he had to engrave your lines in different ordersbecause I didn’t know what happened in the story. The actor compared the secrecy of the film’s plot to the secrecy of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the original video games, Mario and Luigi fight in the Mushroom Kingdom to rescue Princess Peach.. There seem to be some updates to that original idea as Luigi ends up being held captive and the Princess Peach plays a more active role in the story. That is what the public can expect with certainty Bowser will be the villain of the moviewith Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and even Donkey Kong as heroes.
