The incident happened in the evening a few months ago when she was getting her 10-year-old Eliza, 6-year-old Paloma and 3-year-old Lucky ready for bed. While taking a bath, smoke appeared in the bathroom, and when she looked down the corridor, she noticed that it had already filled the whole house like a black river.
I had about two minutes to get the three kids out of the house wearing nothing but shoes. But we managed to get out. And for that I am eternally grateful
– she admitted in an Instagram post, noting that the fires are spreading very quickly. Nothing happened to both the actress and her children. Unfortunately, the beloved pets of the family – and the dog – could not be saved from the flames.

Later in the post, the actress pointed out that she did not want the published post to be about the fire, but about people. She thanked the entire community that helped and supported her and her family in these difficult times — firefighters, investigators, neighbors, parents of children from her children’s school, friends, sisters and team.
