Jakub Wesołowski gained popularity by playing the role of Igor Nowak in the series “Na Wspólnej”. He became involved with production 20 years ago, when he was still a teenager. He did not plan to become an actor. He hit the plan to earn some pocket money

In an interview for Plejada, Jakub Wesołowski revealed that acting was never his passion and before he got to the set, he had no plans for the future. “It was supposed to be a temporary job,” adding that as the interest in the production grew, so did viewers’ sympathy for him. After all, he has been on the show for over two decades. During this time, a lot has changed in his private life. – From the perspective of 20 years, I experienced every possible feeling here. I flunked my high school diploma, went straight from here to the prom, got married, my child was born around the set – he told the journalist.

It turned out that he took part in castings in order to earn some pocket money. Initially, his parents gave him money for small pleasures, but eventually he wanted to become independent and get some more funds. — I was a boy who had pocket money from his parents, it was the third year of high school. We started talking to the guys that maybe we’d go to some jobs to earn more. There was a plan and the first salaries – he talked about his beginnings in the industry.

The actor confessed that having his own money meant that he had to quickly learn to save and manage his funds wisely. However, he revealed that initially he was not the one who managed his paycheck. That only changed when he started college. “At first, that money was taken from me, then I had a student account,” he recalled. For the family, the fact that as a teenager he began to earn his own living was unthinkable. “I had my own money, it was monstrous money for a young boy. I learned adulthood very quickly. I grew up in a normal home where there were no such things. No one imagined that the 17-year-old would earn money – summed up Wesołowski.
