“The Rite of Spring” wins the Nantes Spanish Film Festival

Euskaraz irakurri: “The Rite of Spring”, Espaiinar Zinemaren Nanteseko Jaialdiko filmik onena

The movie “Spring consecration”by director Fernando Franco and produced by Kowalski with the participation of EITB, this Sunday received the Jules Verne award for best film at the Nantes Spanish Film Festival.

The Young Jury Award went to “One Year, One Night” by Isaki Lacuesta, while the Audience Award went to “En los márgenes” by Juan Diego Botto, a film that also won the School Jury Award.

The latest work released by the recently deceased Carlos Saura, “Las paredes hablando”, won the award for best documentary, with a special mention for “To the books and to the women I sing”by Maria Elorza.

“Five Little Wolves”by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, won the Best First Feature Award, and “strings”by Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren, received the award for best short film.
